Readings, workshops, and conferences

David teaches at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda, MD. In his Documentary workshop starting in January, participants learn how to plan and write for a visual medium. The science writing workshops explore how people with a technical background can begin writing for broad audiences and how non-scientists can weave scientific thought into their writing. Read about the documentary workshop in the Post Express and register for the next workshop at www.writer.org.

Testimonial from recent workshop student:

Your class helped so much ... Because of your class, I was awarded a fellowship to travel to Japan and will be making a small documentary ... Thank you for all your help and wisdom.
